About Us
First Impression Resume was created by two tenured human resource professionals in 2010 after recognizing the lack of quality career services available to displaced workers. The BLS reports that more jobs were lost in 2009 than ever existed during the Great Depression. Employers are overwhelmed with applicants and differentiating your candidacy for employment is more difficult than ever before.
Quality resumes are an art form and often elude even the most savvy job searchers. Job searches have also evolved into consistent dynamic approaches that include direct contact, networking, interest/trade participation, recruitment services, and online applications. Our team has the experience, passion, and resources to empower even the most discouraged of job seekers.
One of the sites originators, Aaron, is also a business owner and Career Services Coordinator for a Kansas City college. Personally running his human resource department, teaching professional development classes, organizing resume and interview workshops, and volunteering for local career fairs and job clubs has helped him stay at the forefront of the job market and understand the expectations of major employers.
Maggie is a seasoned education professional with focuses on human resources and employee development. With over a decade of experience, extensive employer network, and insight, Maggie give our clients confidence and a realistic perspective to succeeding in the current employment climate.
